This is to thank Brendon of Digital Document Solutions for the fast and friendly service provided by his office staff recently. I have been using a printer from DDS for some time and have been very happy with the printer reliability and service. I had 2 separate matters to be addressed – one was I had run out of ink and needed to print urgently and the other was my I had purchased a new computer and wanted to set it up to work with the printer.

I emailed Brendon on Monday morning and very quickly I received a phone call from his office to discuss my issues. Although initially I was told they would get some ink in the next day for me. Realising the urgency of my situation, a technician was arranged to come out and set up my new computer to work with the printer and bring an ink cartridge with him. He was on my doorstep before midday the same day. He also checked the print audit to see why I had run out of ink as normally I would have been automatically sent a refill when running low. He found a fault and fixed it. Now I am back to the totally reliable service I have come to expect and rely on from my printer.

I am very impressed with the professional and friendly manner of all staff I have dealt with at DDS – who went above and beyond with their customer service. Thank you Brendon and DDS.

Her Majesty's Theatre (HMT) is one of Melbourne's prestige heritage theatres, home to live theatre for over 125 years. Digitising important and precious archives of Melbourne's rich and lively theatre history is also an important activity at HMT. Recently, we proudly unveiled an enlarged photo portrait of one of Australia's important Variety Performers from the 1930's in our foyers. Several important guests stood around admiring this portrait, remarking on the quality, sharpness of image. Even the donor of the original photo couldn't believe that it was from the original as that was much smaller, but this was huge and crystal clear! For those that asked, they were surprised to learn that we scanned it on our "photocopier" from DDS SHARP. While some questioned whether we "touched the image up" after scanning, another stated how difficult it would have been to have arrived at the same definition using an old technology developing enlarger.

In any case, we at Her Majesty's Theatre are extremely thrilled with the outcome, to have this kind of capacity "in-house" helps us record important Melbourne theatrical history, and put it on display for all of us to remember it. Of course it is comforting to know that our multitasking machine can also do humble jobs like photocopy etc.

Thanks to DDS and staff whose highly personalised service took time to understand our needs as a Theatre, and devise a list of various devises that suit our needs together with the most competitive price and service standards. DDS SHARP's passion to provide quality equipment with is well matched to our passion to provide Melbourne's premium live theatre.

Michael Foldi and the team at DDS have been a pleasure to deal with from the outset. The first meeting with Michael to scope out our needs was conducted at our convenience on-site. Michael spent over an hour discussing and documenting our needs. He listened carefully, speaking to all relevant staff to ascertain what specific requirements were pivotal to the smooth running of our business.

Michael then returned a Print Solution document to us within 48 hours, capturing the machines we needed and including a quote. He then presented again on-site, for approval and signatures of the contract. Once approved, Michael moved expediently to action the Print Solution, communicating with me every step of the way via email or when more time-critical, via mobile phone.

The staff who presented for installation were all helpful, on time, and worked with us to resolve any issues we encountered before leaving the premises (Our office is a MAC office – more complex to install than a WINDOWs office so we appreciated the time required). The technical staff were competent and capable. Since the initial consultation I have received emails and calls to ensure the installation was successful and our needs were met. We had a few issues initially with the “fit” of some of the machines we had chosen in the Print Solution lease.

Michael worked with me to workshop those issues towards more suitable machines, organised a revised quote, located and arranged installation and swap out of the machines in a convenient and timely manner. His “the customer is always right” attitude throughout was a pleasure to deal with and quite unusual in my extensive experience with vendors of this nature. Since the re-fit, there have been the typical maintenance/service issues as usual with the commencement of a multi-level Print Solution. Maintenance staff have been helpful on the phone and when unable to resolve the issue, have presented in a timely manner to the office.

Technical staff have taken time to train staff, demonstrating features above and beyond what they were called to fix. The customer service staff at DSS are always polite and helpful on the phone – a pleasure to deal with. I would have no hesitation in recommending Michael and DDS to any Business considering a Print Solution.
